Ground-Water-Depletion

Recently i read an Article about Ground Water Depletion in northern parts of India. Indian Govt had already cautioned against the ground water depletion. Even NASA(National Aeronautics and Space Administration) of USA has confirmed it. The ground water level in North and North east India had decreased by 33cm. It occured mainly between 2002-2008.

There are two main reason behind it. First, Extensive use of Ground water for primary use. Second, Agriculture pattern. For Example, Cultivating of rice requires more water than other, for which people extensively depend on ground water.

It can be overcome by change in agriculture pattern, water regulation among common man, proper execution of plan framed by the govertment.

[please forgive me if you get through any grammer mistake]
